"Safety First!"
It is Arden Engineering Constructors, LLC & M.J. Daly, LLC policy to provide a safe working environment for all of their employees. To fulfill this commitment, safety is considered the first priority in everything we do. Safety is everyone’s responsibility. To ensure employees are aware of required safety practices and procedures; training in the recognition of safety and health hazards and various other specific safety related topics are conducted continuously. Supervisors are provided additional training and semi-annual Foremen meetings are held to discuss safety requirements and recent safety related events. A safety discipline program is in place to ensure safety violations are immediately addressed and corrected. Each company has a safety committee represented by all crafts and management that meets monthly to discuss accidents, injuries, safety trends, and new safety requirements. Lastly, a safety incentive program is in place to keep “Safety First” as the focal point to heighten the safety awareness of our employees.

The bonus safety points will be awarded to employees responsible for the proactive approach and are good toward the purchase of merchandise from the current safety incentive program. The Director of Safety is responsible for awarding the bonus safety points to each employee’s account and informing senior management when bonus points are distributed. Bonus safety points can also be earned when employees’ safety performance or awareness goes beyond company expectations. For example, an employee notices a dangerous safety hazard from another craft or contractor and notifies their supervisor of the hazard so it can be addressed.
